Charisma Carpenter

Charisma Carpenter is an American actor who is best known for her performance as 'Cordelia Chase' in the beloved teen TV series "Buffy the vampire Slayer" and in the movie 'Angel. Although she was a ballerina who has been trained and an experienced cheerleader Carpenter was a performer only due to chance. Carpenter, who was discovered in Los Angeles by a commercial agency while waiting tables, rapidly went from modeling to acting in one of the most successful dramas during the early 90s. Carpenter's brief stints as Veronica, Miss Match and Chamed, and her own real-life show "Surviving Evil,' that aired on Investigation Discovery' shocked many. Carpenter shared her terrifying story of being raped and killed by a serial killer while she was just 21 years older.
